Lead Federal Behavioral Health Growth at Leidos
Leidos seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to drive our Federal Behavioral Health and Human Performance portfolio. Build Leidos' reputation, execute BD processes, and grow pipeline in the Health domain. Telecommuting available from Reston, VA (National Capital Region).
Primary Responsibilities
- Proactively identify opportunities via market research on budgets, competitors, and customer needs.
- Conduct meetings with customers, partners, and teams for acquisition insights.
- Develop and execute customer call plans with detailed reporting.
- Serve as Capture Manager from early phase to award.
- Participate in pipeline reviews, opportunity gates, black hat sessions, and proposal reviews.
- Collaborate across Leidos for cross-enterprise objectives.
- Support strategic planning to hit awards, submits, and pipeline metrics.
- Brief senior leadership on BD status.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 12+ years BD experience (substitutable with education/training).
- Proven BD success across acquisition sizes.
- Key customer/partner access.
- Health agencies BD/capture experience.
- US Citizen, clearance eligible, NCR local.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s/Doctorate.
- Strong Behavioral Health/Human Performance relationships.
- Independent operator with internal collaboration skills.
