Leidos Digital Modernization Sector seeks an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer Architect (AWS) for a high-profile DoD contract at Fort Belvoir, VA. Support DTRA’s I3TS program to modernize IT services across CONUS and OCONUS. Design secure, scalable hybrid/multi-cloud architectures enabling mission success in complex defense environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect AWS solutions aligned with DoD cybersecurity standards like DISA STIGs and NIST 800-53.
- Deploy AWS Identity Center for multi-account access management and federated SSO integrations.
- Develop zero-trust IAM frameworks using RBAC and SCPs.
- Secure hybrid connectivity between AWS, on-premises, and other clouds like Azure.
- Leverage IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) for automation.
- Collaborate on compliance with FedRAMP High and DoD SRG.
Required Qualifications
- Active AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
- DoD TS/SCI eligibility and 8570 IAT Level II.
- BS/MS with 12/10+ years experience; 5+ years AWS in government settings.
- Expertise in AWS IAM, Identity Center, Organizations; SAML/OIDC protocols.
- Hands-on Terraform, CloudFormation; strong communication for leadership briefings.
Preferred Skills
- Zero Trust deployment in DoD clouds.
- AWS GovCloud and Azure Government experience.
- Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) in classified networks.
