Support USCYBERCOM J3 Operations as a Senior Cyberspace Operations Planner in Odenton, MD. Lead Joint Planning processes for cyberspace operations in a collaborative, high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver subject matter expertise in Joint plans development, drafting OPLANS, OPORDs, and FRAGOs.
  • Lead JOPG/OPT, integrate cyber capabilities, develop COAs, and align with USCYBERCOM objectives.
  • Analyze cyber threats from state/non-state actors, assess vulnerabilities, and partner capabilities.
  • Transition plans to operations, synchronize intelligence, and conduct strategic cyber planning.
  • Navigate DoD structures, interpret policies, and communicate complex cyber concepts effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • BA/BS in STEM or related (or completable in 1 year); 12+ years CO experience post-2010.
  • JOC/Current Ops Planner experience at Service Cyber Component or JFHQ-C.
  • Formal DoD/IC Cyber Planner training; JP 3-12/JP 5-0 knowledge.
  • Strong analytical, multitasking, and communication skills in fast-paced settings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s in STEM/National Security Studies.
  • Deep USCYBERCOM familiarity and JOC surge support readiness.

  • Provide SME in Joint plans development and staffing for Cyberspace Operations per USCYBERCOM guidance
  • Draft and staff OPLANS, OPORDs, FRAGOs, and related documents
  • Lead/support JOPG/OPT, integrate cyber capabilities into plans
  • Develop concepts of support, COAs, and comprehensive cyber plans
  • Analyze cyber threats, adversary methods, and partner capabilities
  • Transition planning to current operations and synchronize with intelligence
  • Conduct strategic planning and apply relevant laws/policies
