Job Description

Join Leidos' NGEN Team as Senior Desktop Support Technician

Leidos is hiring a Senior Desktop Support Technician for a government site in Bremerton, WA, supporting the Navy's largest IT services program, NGEN. Deliver core backbone services including cybersecurity, network ops, service desk, and data transport for the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair user computers, hardware, and software issues.
  • Mentor junior techs and manage tickets via HP Service Manager/Remedy per SLRs.
  • Handle cabling (CAT5e, fiber), printers, VoIP, VTC, and VIP support.
  • Travel 5-10% to San Diego Shipyard.

Physical Demands

Lift 50 lbs up to 100 ft, work in confined/noisy spaces, use tools/ladders, normal color vision, drive to sites. Stand/sit 8+ hours.

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen, DoD Secret Clearance.
  • HS Diploma + 5+ years experience (or equivalent).
  • Security+ CE or higher (DoD 8570 IAT II).
  • Windows 10, network basics, top customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership, self-motivation, analytical thinking.

  • Support MFD/printers, VoIP, and VTC systems
  • Provide premier support to VIP/executive customers
  • Perform cabling tasks (CAT5e, fiber, wall drops)
  • Travel 5-10% to San Diego Shipyard as needed
