Join Leidos as a Senior Developer in Chantilly, VA
Leidos is seeking a talented Senior Developer for a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting critical Sponsor Entitlement Programs, IdAM/ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Entitlements, and Digital Policy Management. Work with a large team of developers and cloud engineers in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate in Scrum agile framework with 3-week sprints to deliver incremental enhancements and new applications as mission needs evolve.
- Actively participate in planning, Jira backlog grooming, and team collaboration to optimize performance and ensure seamless communication.
- Rotate through O&M responsibilities, including on-call after-hours support approximately one week every three months.
- Develop RESTful APIs, manipulate data using XML, JSON, and YAML, and deploy code via custom EC2 scripts and CloudFormation.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- BS degree + 8+ years relevant experience (or equivalent).
- Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Git, Jenkins, Rundeck, CloudFormation, RESTful APIs, and Scrum.
Desired Qualifications
- AWS certification.
- Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, Python development, Elasticsearch/Kibana, tokenization, IAM/Zero Trust, AI/LLM concepts, microservices, automated testing (Selenium/Katalon), and multi-region resilient solutions.
