Leidos is seeking a passionate Senior Distribution Engineer in Framingham, MA, to deliver exceptional electric utility design engineering. Work hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote) on high-quality projects, collaborating with clients and teams to uphold Leidos' reputation. Gain expertise in NESC, structural pole modeling, power calculations, GIS, field data, and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical distribution work packages, design, and analysis for programmatic, capital, and reliability projects.
- Perform QAQC on team designs and conduct client reviews.
- Analyze scopes, maintain schedules, and prioritize client needs.
- Interact frequently with clients and support construction phases.
- Coordinate utilities, permits, easements, and field visits.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in electric distribution projects (consulting or utility).
- Bachelor's in Engineering (ABET) or equivalent experience.
- NESC proficiency, pole loading software experience.
- Valid driver's license; field/office flexibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- QAQC experience, cost estimation, BOM, CIAC calculation.
- STORMS/GIS proficiency, leadership, customer interaction history.
