Join Leidos as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Leidos' National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program seeks Senior Electronics Design Engineers to modernize FAA Eastern Service Area telecommunications infrastructure. Support critical upgrades to Small Tower Voice Switches, Air to Ground Protocol Converters, NEXCOM Radios, and National Airspace Connectivity across key locations: College Park, GA; Washington, DC; Burlington, MA; and Nashua, NH.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform site surveys and develop detailed scopes of work for FAA facility preparations.
  • Create cost estimates, identify CLINs, and review contractor proposals for compliance.
  • Generate risk management programs and coordinate with stakeholders for safe implementations.
  • Oversee installations, update CWP data, and maintain facility drawings using AutoCAD.

Basic Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electronics Engineering + 8 years relevant experience.
  • >50% travel readiness and Public Trust eligibility (US Citizen/Green Card Holder, 3+ years US residency).
  • Expertise in MS Office, AutoCAD, NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and NAS equipment towers.

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with NAS facilities (ASR, ATCT, VOR, ARSR, RCAG, NASET, NASEB).
  • Knowledge of CWP 4.1.12 processes.
