Join Leidos as Senior Facilities Architect in Chantilly, VA

Leidos seeks a licensed Senior Facilities Architect to lead transformative architectural projects in a high-stakes, mission-critical environment. With TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance required, you'll manage facilities across corporate locations, optimizing office spaces, infrastructure, and assets to align with business goals while ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Primary Responsibilities

  • Design Development: Craft innovative, sustainable architectural designs meeting functional and aesthetic needs.
  • Project Management: Oversee timelines, budgets, construction, renovations, leasing, and multi-site operations.
  • Team Leadership & Client Interaction: Mentor juniors, coordinate stakeholders, and present to executives.
  • Construction Administration & Quality Control: Ensure flawless implementation, code compliance, and issue resolution.
  • Technical Expertise: Advise on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), vendor management, and process improvements.

Basic Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance
  • Bachelor's in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture (or equivalent); 12-15 years experience or Master's + 10-13 years
  • Proven multi-site facilities leadership in complex settings
  • Expertise in building systems, codes, safety, project management, and communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • IFMA CFM/FMP or BOMA RPA certifications
  • AutoCAD/CAFM proficiency, real estate portfolio management
  • Sustainability programs, large capital projects, government contracting experience

Pay Range: $116,350 - $210,325 USD (factors include experience, skills, location). Leidos outthinks, outbuilds, and outpaces—join us to refuse failure and drive missions forward. Original posting: January 27, 2026. Open at least 3 days.

  • Guide teams, mentor junior staff, and provide technical expertise on building systems
  • Drive sustainable practices, process improvements, and client/executive interactions
