Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fire Alarm Technician to deliver mission-critical fire protection services in commercial and industrial settings. This role demands expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing advanced fire alarm and life safety systems while supporting fire research, investigations, and risk assessments. With TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance required, you'll work on high-stakes projects that ensure safety and compliance in sensitive environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install fire alarm systems per design specs, manufacturer guidelines, and NFPA 72.
  • Perform inspections, testing, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues in Siemens Fire XLS/Desigo, VESDA, HVAC integrations, and fiber optics.
  • Conduct structural assessments, develop pre-fire plans, and recommend risk mitigations.
  • Collaborate with teams, document all activities, and maintain code/OSHA compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance.
  • Experience in fire alarm installation, inspection, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of electrical schematics, low-voltage systems, and fire codes.
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NFPA, NICET certifications, or Journeyman Electrician license.
  • Mentoring experience and ability to work at heights up to 40 feet.
