Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop radar signal processors, tracking algorithms, and advanced sensors in electronic warfare (EW) environments.
  • Simulate radar systems, conduct field-testing of RF sensors, and deploy advanced sensor solutions.
  • Analyze and optimize existing algorithms for superior performance and reduced processing latency.
  • Research and integrate state-of-the-art algorithms from technical literature into radar programs.
  • Lead engineering teams, conduct peer reviews, oversee tasking, and solve complex radar challenges.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering (ABET-accredited) + 8-12 years in radar algorithm development.
  • Expertise in DSP, tracker algorithms, MATLAB/Python, radar modeling/simulation, antenna theory, and field testing.
  • Team leadership experience; US Citizen with active Secret Clearance; Huntsville-area resident or relocatable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS in Electrical Engineering + 6-10 years experience.
  • Strong statistics/probability background; skills in electromagnetics, modern C++, Linux.
