Our Non-Kinetic Effects Business Area seeks a Senior Model Based Systems Engineer to support critical Air Force Research Lab, Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, and DoD missions from our Beavercreek, OH office. Primary Responsibilities
- Capture, decompose, and trace complex system-level requirements using MBSE tools.
- Analyze, define, and refine system architectures and interfaces for optimal performance.
- Develop detailed system structure and behavior models with SysML.
- Collaborate closely with government stakeholders and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Champion MBSE adoption organization-wide and serve as the primary customer POC.
- Maintain expertise in emerging MBSE practices, tools, and technologies.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in engineering, computer science, or related field + 8 years experience (or Master’s + 6 years).
- 3+ years hands-on SysML modeling experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance (eligible for Top Secret).
- US Citizenship required.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills in fast-paced settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Agile/SCRUM experience; Atlassian tools proficiency.
- Teamwork Cloud, SysML v2, AFSIM, MOSA initiatives.
- CI/CD, unit testing, military CONOPS, prior DoD work.
