Job Description

Join Leidos' Digital Modernization Group as a Senior Network Engineer

Leidos' Digital Modernization group seeks a Senior Network Engineer for the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) program in Arlington, VA. Support DISA's transformation of Secure Web Services (SWS) into a mature, cloud-based service for DoD and intelligence communities. Manage commercial cloud migrations, automate CI/CD environments, consolidate fourth estate services, implement ITIL/DevSecOps processes, and develop a DWCF service catalog. This 100% on-site role requires U.S. citizenship, active TS/SCI clearance, and CI Poly eligibility.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical expertise for network integration, consolidation, and optimization.
  • Prepare implementation plans detailing actions, milestones, and timelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network hardware/software issues.
  • Interface with customers, vendors, and teams to meet business/technical needs.
  • Develop briefings, SOPs, standards, and present to leadership.
  • Design network architectures and evaluate emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate across technologies for efficiency and innovation.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS + 8-12 years or Masters + 6-10 years relevant experience.
  • Active TS/SCI; eligible for CI Poly.
  • IAT Level II cert (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security).
  • Expertise in Cisco (DMVPN, BGP), Palo Alto, AWS (VPC, Route 53).
  • ITIL knowledge; strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • DISA experience.
  • Cloud-hosted networks proficiency.
  • Master’s in IT/Cybersecurity.

  • Experience with DISA and mission partners (preferred) (experience)
  • Master’s in IT/Cybersecurity (preferred) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design, migrate, implement, enhance, optimize, and maintain network infrastructure for CESO program
  • Provide technical expertise for network integration and consolidation across systems
  • Prepare technical implementation plans with milestones, timelines, and critical paths
  • Resolve issues with network hardware installation/upgrades and interface with customers/vendors
  • Develop documentation, briefings, SOPs, and present to senior leadership
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, conduct assessments, and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with partners to de-conflict efforts and drive innovation
