Leidos is seeking a customer-focused Senior Network Engineer to support NASA's National Security Systems (NSS) team. In this leadership role, you'll manage network functions, mentor junior staff, and deliver rapid troubleshooting for mission-critical operations. Primary Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, plan, modify, and maintain networks for data, voice, and video communications.
• Configure, perform preventative maintenance, and isolate faults in LAN/WAN equipment and telecom circuitry.
• Provide detailed schematics, hardware/software recommendations, and solutions for current/future capacity needs.
• Maintain expertise in routers, switches, firewalls, gateways, and interconnection technologies.
• Plan and implement network enhancements/upgrades; conduct rigorous testing.
• Evaluate emerging technologies; audit equipment and generate comprehensive reports.
• Mentor junior team members and delegate tasks per established policies.
• Deliver quick-reaction support to operations and NASA customers, resolving complex issues swiftly.

Required Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of network design, protocols, and hardware platforms.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Deep experience with WAN/LAN/datacenter routing, switching, firewalls, IPsec/SSL, CUCM/TMS/VCS, and NSA Type I encryptors.
• Configuration-level Cisco expertise; OS knowledge (Windows, Cisco IOS, RHEL, CentOS).
• Proven track record in similar roles with exceptional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

• DISA STIGs, Splunk, Network Hardening knowledge.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Security+.
