Senior Network Sales Engineer and Architect
Join Leidos' Resilient Network Practice in Newark, NJ, as a Senior Sales Engineer/Architect. Be the technical bridge driving federal client adoption of cutting-edge network solutions in the Digital Modernization Sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Master network technologies like IaC, SD-WAN, wireless, and NFV. Articulate Leidos Mission Drivers' benefits and stay ahead of trends to position offerings competitively.
- Client Engagement: Partner with CTO, Business Groups, and Growth teams to identify needs, deliver demos, workshops, and build stakeholder relationships for long-term success.
- Solution Architecture: Design MPLS transport, SD-WAN overlays, multi-cloud connectivity, micro-segmentation, and zero trust strategies. Lead RFx proposals with architecture, narratives, and pricing.
- Deployment & Innovation: Deploy repeatable offerings, champion best practices, and innovate for mission-scale challenges across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments.
- Collaboration: Work with teams, clients, subcontractors to align projects and enhance Leidos' network portfolio.
Qualifications & Clearance
US Citizenship required. No initial clearance needed; must obtain DoD Secret. Deep network expertise and sales engineering experience essential for federal missions.

- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops for government customers
- Architect secure, scalable network solutions including SD-WAN overlays and multi-cloud connectivity
- Lead proposal efforts with solution architecture, technical narratives, and pricing inputs
- Collaborate with capture teams, CTO, and partners to deploy repeatable network offerings
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders to drive strategic opportunities and partnerships
