The Mission
Join the Digital Modernization Sector supporting the Intelligence Sector as a Senior Network/Systems Tools Engineer in Chantilly, VA. Design and maintain cutting-edge OpenText NOM architecture focused on Operations Bridge for the OPTIC Data Lake, ensuring scalable, resilient network management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide SME guidance on security, user management, and compliance in NOM.
- Plan, install, configure, secure, upgrade, and patch OPTIC DL in Kubernetes and Juniper Routing Director.
- Develop REST API integrations with enterprise systems.
- Monitor, optimize performance, and resolve bottlenecks.
- Configure data ingestion of topology, events, and metrics.
- Administer data storage, backups, restores, dashboards, and reports.
- Troubleshoot complex issues with vendor support.
- Automate operations using Python, Ansible, PowerShell.
- Maintain documentation and train teams.
Required Qualifications
- 8-12 years experience (or equivalent with advanced degrees).
- DoD 8140 IAT Level 2.
- Kubernetes/Linux expertise.
- TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PostgreSQL/Vertica knowledge.
- Networking protocols and monitoring tools.
- Scripting in Python, Perl, Ruby.
