Leidos Multi-Domain Solutions (MDS) division seeks a Senior Operations Technician to safeguard critical building systems in a large, complex facility. Leverage your mechanical and electrical expertise in HVAC, central plants, generators, power distribution, and BAS to ensure uninterrupted operations. Ideal for organized, detail-oriented leaders ready to drive impact through troubleshooting and maintenance excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and repair boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical transformers, MCCs, UPS, substations, pumps, generators, and BAS.
- Monitor systems using control panels, gauges, and digital interfaces for optimal performance.
- Swiftly address alarms, emergencies, and breakdowns with corrective measures.
- Conduct data analysis to identify inefficiencies and preempt equipment failures.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and reactive repairs.
- Lead Junior Technicians in tasks, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Maintain detailed logs for inspections, repairs, and operations.
- Enforce OSHA, NFPA, and company safety standards rigorously.
- Collaborate across departments during outages and high-priority events.
Basic Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Night shift availability required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years automotive/heavy equipment maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, cooling systems, electrical wiring.
- Skilled in technical manuals, diagrams, diagnostic tools, hand/power tools.
- Preventive/corrective maintenance experience (brakes, valves, alignments).
- Expert troubleshooting and safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership/mentoring experience.
- Quality control, energy efficiency, CMMS familiarity.
- DOT-compliant inspections, EPA 609 certification.
- Project management in maintenance/fleet operations.
