Your Role in Strategic Scheduling
As Senior Program Scheduler in Huntsville, AL, you'll provide leadership for multiple programs, developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), driving scheduling solutions, and aligning technical execution, resources, risks, and objectives. Part of Leidos' Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) Center of Excellence, you'll shape program strategies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary scheduling authority, influencing decisions with best practices.
- Build/maintain complex IMS per EIA-748, PASEG, NDIA standards.
- Lead Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) and Monte Carlo simulations for mitigation strategies.
- Present insights and 'what-if' scenarios to senior leaders and customers.
- Implement business rhythms, controls, and artifacts; manage resource-loaded networks, CPM, 14-point analysis.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 8+ years Defense scheduling (or equivalent).
- Advanced Microsoft Project & SSI Tools proficiency.
- U.S. citizenship; Secret Clearance eligible.
- Expertise in schedule health metrics, risk modeling, baseline control.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace/Defense experience.
- PMI Scheduling Professional.

Responsibilities
- Serve as primary scheduling point of contact shaping program strategies
- Partner with program managers, IPT Leads, and technical staff to optimize performance
- Build and maintain complex IMS compliant with EIA-748, PASEG, NDIA standards
- Lead Schedule Risk Assessments to quantify risks and develop mitigations
- Present schedule insights, risks, and what-if scenarios to senior stakeholders
- Implement scheduling business rhythms, controls, and artifacts for contractual needs
- Work independently with significant interface to program leadership
