Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project managers delivering comprehensive engineering designs for electric utility clients.
  • Manage portfolio performance: cost, schedule, scope, risks.
  • Drive process improvements, operational efficiencies, and PMO maturity via tools, KPIs, analytics.
  • Mentor staff, interface with clients/stakeholders, oversee contracts, invoicing, bids, RFPs.
  • Develop dashboards/forecasts for executives; pursue business development; ensure compliance.
  • Travel ~15% locally/regionally.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance or related.
  • 8+ years PM experience in electric power (6+ with Master’s); utility project expertise.
  • Scope/schedule/cost/contract skills; bid/RFP experience; leadership proficiency.
  • Project software (Workfront, MS Project, P6), MS Office; strong communication; travel willingness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP (or obtain within 2 years); leadership/cross-functional team success.
  • Consulting experience; PowerBI/visualization tools.

  • Competency in multi-disciplinary utility project management (experience)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project tools (experience)
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences (experience)
  • Ability to travel ~15% locally regionally (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead team of project managers on engineering design projects for electric utilities
  • Own portfolio performance including cost schedule scope management
  • Drive strategic process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Mentor develop PM staff foster collaboration learning
  • Interface with clients stakeholders on issues progress risks
  • Coordinate with engineering leads on technical scope constructability
  • Oversee contract administration change orders invoicing accruals
  • Develop portfolio dashboards revenue forecasts for executives
  • Deploy standardized PMO tools templates KPIs procedures
  • Leverage analytics for decision-making trend identification
  • Prepare bid documents cost estimates RFP responses
  • Identify pursue business development opportunities
  • Ensure contract compliance quality standards
