Program Overview
The AGUN program powers the Army’s worldwide network and security infrastructure. RONIN ensures mission continuity through resilient design, Zero Trust integration, and agile responses across all domains. Support engineering teams to sustain and evolve this critical enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer RONIN security solutions for mission assurance.
- Integrate with AGUN stakeholders for network architecture enhancement.
- Analyze complex firewall policies and segmentation.
- Implement ZTNA and adaptive routing for node survivability.
- Lead incident troubleshooting and CSSP coordination.
- Integrate resilient design, load balancing, and recovery mechanisms.
- Perform anomaly detection, forensics, and monitoring.
- Maintain DoD STIG and Army policy compliance.
- Document topologies and configurations in version-controlled repos.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s +12 years or Master’s +10 years experience.
- Active DoD SECRET clearance.
- IAT Level II cert (Security+ or equivalent).
- Expert network security, VSYS, multi-tenant virtualization.
- LAN/WAN, BGP, IPSec, firewall experience.
- Enterprise platforms: Palo Alto Panorama, Cisco ISE, etc.
- STIG hardening and vendor tech proficiency.
Preferred Skills
- Army/DISA modernization experience.
- Palo Alto NGFW expertise.
- NetSecOps: Git, Ansible, Terraform, Python.
- Resilient enterprise architecture design.

- Lead troubleshooting of network/security events with CSSP coordination
- Conduct anomaly detection, forensics, and performance monitoring
- Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs and Army cybersecurity policies
- Develop technical documentation and configuration baselines
