Leidos is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (SWE-4) for our Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) at Fort George G. Meade, MD. Be at the forefront of Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, SIGINT, and Cryptographic Key Management. Our LOE program delivers rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research to push boundaries in visualizations, analytics, and intelligence tradecraft.
Key Mission Impact
Develop prototypes to extend enterprise services, support analytics, enhance machine learning, and build commercial cloud solutions. Integrate open source tools, emerging technologies, and COTS applications. Collaborate directly with customers, developers, and data scientists in a fast-paced lab environment to gather requirements, provide feedback, and support experiment testing.
Technical Expertise Required
Demonstrate proven experience installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications. Proficiency in integrating with cloud-based data systems is essential. Strong background in Java, Python, and development on Linux platforms. Desirable: Modeling, Machine Learning, Docker/Kubernetes, Analytics, and VM experience.
Qualifications & Clearance
Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field + 11-15 years experience (or equivalent). Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required. Competitive pay: $154,050 - $278,475 annually, plus comprehensive benefits including 401K match, PTO, flexible schedules, and professional growth opportunities.
