Leidos is seeking a Senior Software Tool Developer (SWE-3) to join our cutting-edge team in the Intel Sector, based in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role is pivotal in delivering mission-critical solutions for Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, SIGINT, and Cryptographic Key Management. Be part of a fast-paced environment driving rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research to push the boundaries of intelligence analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end capability development, transforming research concepts, software prototypes, and algorithms into deployable tools for cryptanalytic engineering and analysis.
- Leverage expertise in enterprise Java to enhance existing tools, incorporating new parameters, performing architecture reviews, and managing releases, testing, debugging, and user support.
- Collaborate closely with mission stakeholders, researchers, and end users to create innovative, daily-use tools that elevate cryptanalytic tradecraft.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 11+ years of software development experience or equivalent.
- Proficiency in JAVA, Python, Rust, C++, TypeScript, Visual Studio, and GitLab.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Desirable Skills
- Graph representation and transformation to alternative structures.
- Digital logic emulation and object-oriented re-architecture.
- File parsing, generation, and optimization frameworks.
