Key Responsibilities

  • Develop or modify electrical layouts, foundation plans, sections, conduit, grounding, and control building drawings.
  • Compile complete bills of materials for all electrical components.
  • Review and critique vendor-supplied equipment drawings.
  • Partner with civil engineers and multi-discipline teams.
  • Drive process enhancements for project efficiency.
  • Execute basic engineering calculations and apply industry standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years (Level 1) or 4+ years (Level 2) substation design experience with CAD on utility projects.
  • Expertise in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Windows tools like Word/Excel.
  • Strong 2D drafting skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, and team collaboration.
