Key Responsibilities
- Develop or modify electrical layouts, foundation plans, sections, conduit, grounding, and control building drawings.
- Compile complete bills of materials for all electrical components.
- Review and critique vendor-supplied equipment drawings.
- Partner with civil engineers and multi-discipline teams.
- Drive process enhancements for project efficiency.
- Execute basic engineering calculations and apply industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years (Level 1) or 4+ years (Level 2) substation design experience with CAD on utility projects.
- Expertise in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Windows tools like Word/Excel.
- Strong 2D drafting skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, and team collaboration.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with 3D applications and AutoCAD.
- Adaptability to new software tools.
