Key Responsibilities
- Execute relay one-line, three-line AC schematic, and DC protection schematic designs.
- Create panel layouts, wiring designs, and develop bills of materials.
- Conduct quality control checks and support full project lifecycles, including construction.
- Apply NESC standards and client specifications while interfacing with nationwide utilities.
Qualifications
- Senior-Level: BS in Electrical Engineering + 4+ years substation P&C design/testing.
- Lead-Level: BS + 8+ years experience.
- Proven skills in substation drawings, communication, problem-solving, and deadline management.
- Preferred: EIT/PE, CAD experience, DOE clearance eligibility.

- Experience reading/designing substation drawings (one-line, three-line, AC/DC schematics, wiring) (experience)
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills (experience)
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and work independently (experience)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (experience)
- High computer competency and willingness to travel (experience)
- US Citizen able to pass DOE background check (preferred) (experience)
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred) (experience)
Responsibilities
