Our Intelligence Production Solutions Division (IPSD) seeks a Senior Systems Engineer for the Chinook Program's 4ACES team in Gaithersburg, MD. This mission-critical role supports advanced analyst augmentation in a classified cloud environment, managing Databricks and AWS resources for 400+ global data scientists.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Databricks administrator: configure workspaces, users, workgroups, compute pools, clusters, and JSON resources.
• Administer AWS infrastructure: EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS databases, IAM policies, CloudWatch monitoring, and Lambda functions.
• Develop automation scripts and IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation for scalable deployments across multiple VPC shards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—data scientists, developers, mission analysts—in Agile sprints using Jira and Confluence.
• Produce metrics reports, system documentation, and support security hardening for operational readiness.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure compliance in a Top Secret/SCI environment.

Basic Qualifications

• US Citizenship and active Top Secret/SCI clearance (Polygraph required).
• Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering +8 years or Master’s +6 years relevant experience.
• Enterprise Databricks administration and AWS expertise (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM).
• Automation scripting, Excel data transformation, PowerPoint presentations.
• Agile experience and Security+ CE (obtainable within 6 months).

Preferred Skills

• DoD/IC customer support, Python (PySpark, Boto3), SQL tuning.
• AWS certifications, Docker/EKS, Bash scripting, Jupyter Notebooks.
