Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Sepio Security Engineer to bolster our cybersecurity team. In this critical role, you'll leverage the Sepio platform to ensure comprehensive asset visibility and rogue device mitigation, protecting physical and digital assets from evolving cyber threats. Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, configure, and optimize Sepio Asset Risk Management (ARM) for full peripheral device detection.
  • Develop policy enforcement to automatically block unauthorized rogue devices using physical layer data.
  • Collaborate on security architecture integration for defense-in-depth strategies.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, risk prioritization, and mitigation recommendations.
  • Monitor for anomalies and lead incident response for hardware/network issues.
  • Create and maintain security policies compliant with NIST, ISO 27001, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
  • Partner with Product, Support, and Engineering teams; deliver training and documentation.
  • Provide root cause analysis reports and drive process improvements across DHS initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science/IT or related + 8-12 years experience (substitutable).
  • 3+ years in security engineering with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint tools.
  • Expertise in security frameworks and networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication for diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Nucleus, TVM, AWS, Azure, CrowdStrike, or RelativityOne.

  • Monitor systems, respond to incidents involving hardware/network anomalies
  • Develop security policies, procedures, and standards for compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide security training
  • Define system security requirements for FISMA/FedRAMP
  • Deliver technical reports, root cause analysis, and process improvements
