ServiceNow Development Manager - Leidos Digital Modernization Sector
Leidos is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Software Development Manager to lead our internal service center group within the Digital Modernization Sector. This hands-on leadership role supports self-hosted/on-prem ServiceNow implementations for Federal Government customers, emphasizing ITSM, ITAM (SAM/HAM), Discovery, and Service Mapping. Join a dynamic Repeatable Offerings team driving innovation and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction: Set coding standards, conduct code reviews, design scalable solutions.
- Hands-on development: Build complex features, integrations, optimize performance in DoD environments.
- Instance management: Handle upgrades, patching, collaborate with cloud/infra teams for 24x7 stability.
- Stakeholder engagement: Gather requirements, support proposals, create process maps and documentation.
- Mentorship: Guide developers from junior to senior levels, contribute to EHD training materials.
Primary Skills & Expertise
Require deep knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (UI Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes), APIs, and modules like ITSM/ITAM. Must thrive in 100% on-site Lorton, VA facility with Monday-Friday core hours plus mission-critical support.
