This short-term, PRN position lets you focus purely on counseling without administrative hassles—no insurance filing, progress notes, or treatment plans required.
Key Role and Impact
As an MRR MFLC, you'll provide proactive, solution-focused counseling to adults, children, and families in military settings, including schools and child development centers. Embedded support helps address challenges like deployments, relocations, and emotional transitions before they escalate. Work 60% indoors (schools, installations) and 40% outdoors, adapting to dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual, couples, family, and child counseling sessions face-to-face.
- Use clinical skills for referrals to DOD and community resources.
- Conduct presentations on social-emotional development.
- Engage at events to build trust with service members and families.
- Tackle military-specific issues like frequent moves and separations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s or higher in Behavioral Health Professions.
- Independent license: LCSW, MFT, LPCC, or Psychologist.
- U.S. citizen; pass background and NACI/CNACI clearance.
