Signal Processing Engineer - Advance Electronic Warfare at Leidos

Leidos' Electronic Warfare Division is at the forefront of protecting warfighters and national security against evolving threats. Join our team in Arlington, VA or San Diego, CA as a Signal Processing Engineer, where you'll enhance sensor and signal robustness in complex environments while advancing research for cutting-edge EW programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, model, and test algorithms using MATLAB, Simulink, or C++.
  • Analyze results from simulations and real-world data to pinpoint root causes and trends.
  • Innovate advanced algorithms, performance simulations, and analyses in time series and spectral domains.
  • Conduct lab-based and field testing to validate solutions.
  • Contribute to marketing, business development, and direct customer engagements across multiple projects.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret clearance (eligible for TS/SCI).
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of radar signal processing experience.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Linux, Mathematica, Python, Simulink, C/C++, Java.
  • Knowledge of digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection/estimation theory, linear algebra, stochastic processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in team and solo settings.
  • Adaptable mindset with drive for growth.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Task lead or team leadership experience.
  • Expertise in modeling/simulation, radar, adaptive radar, SAR, or similar.
