Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop cutting-edge signal processing algorithms and data analysis techniques using filtering, Fourier analysis, and AI/machine learning methods.
  • Analyze complex ocean data from multiwavelength sensors for actionable insights.
  • Perform advanced signal detection, characterization, and estimation.
  • Create optimized software implementations for real-world deployment.
  • Document technical results and deliver compelling presentations to customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, collegial team environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in signal processing algorithm development, remote sensing, and signal detection.
  • Strong expertise in detection/estimation theory, Fourier analysis, linear algebra, matrix computations, and algorithm design.
  • Fluency in MATLAB or equivalent data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated innovation, problem-solving, and technical success.
  • Self-motivated team player thriving in high-expectation settings.
  • US Citizen eligible for Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in hydrodynamics and physical oceanography.
  • Software skills in C, C++, Python, Java, MPI, CUDA, shell scripting, or Perl.
  • Experience with public speaking, client interactions, presentations, and project management.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
