Site Activation Lead - Technical Project Manager
Leidos is seeking a dynamic Site Activation Lead with Technical Project Management expertise to spearhead the Site Deployment Team for FAA NextGen Air Traffic Control programs, focusing on En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM). This high-impact role demands extensive travel (up to 80%, averaging 66%) with trips of 1-4 weeks, primarily on 3rd shift to ensure minimal operational disruption. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all site activation activities, communications, and planning with FAA and Leidos teams.
- Deliver daily status reports including in-briefs/out-briefs, schedules, material deliveries, and subcontractor updates.
- Support Technical Operations (TO) in ERAM Technical Refresh deployment and certification.
- Maintain comprehensive on-site schedules from General Acceptance through maintenance completion.
- Execute software installations, firmware upgrades, and system maintenance per technical manuals.
- Provide troubleshooting expertise for Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and assist in equipment relocations.
- Manage site spares, documentation, logs, and performance records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 4 years experience (or Master’s + 2 years, or 8 years without degree).
- Proven experience in Waterfall/Agile methodologies and technical leadership.
- Strong background in cost accounting, EVM, planning, and estimating.
- Excellent communication, team-building skills, and U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Experience
- Prior NAS/FAA site activation, especially ERAM, ATOP, TBFM.
- Familiarity with National Airspace systems.
