Primary Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test sophisticated X-ray/CT systems integrated with baggage handling infrastructure.
  • Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including preventive tasks and radiation surveys, while maintaining equipment calibration.
  • Provide hands-on customer training and represent Leidos professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates must possess mechanical/electrical tools proficiency, solid IT knowledge including Linux, and strong experience with electromechanical systems. Preferred backgrounds include automation, aerospace, conveyor systems, pneumatics, robotics, or control systems. A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) is required, along with X-ray/CT experience. Flexibility for travel, a clean driving license, 5-year checkable history for airside access, and passing an enhanced background check are essential.
