We're seeking a skilled Site Service Shift Engineer to join our UK team at Stansted Airport, reporting to the Field Services Area Manager. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of complex X-ray and CT-based security systems under limited supervision.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance (PM) services and support customers with calibration, testing, and repairs.
  • Deliver formal and informal training to customer personnel on system operation and maintenance.
  • Respond to technical issues via phone or on-site, resolving complaints and optimizing equipment performance.
  • Troubleshoot interface problems during installations and advise on equipment modifications using Salesforce CRM.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Ideal candidates hold a technical school diploma or military training in electronics engineering. Bring solid field service experience in security, aviation, or related industries, with strong knowledge of X-ray/CT technologies, digital/analog circuitry, Linux, high-voltage systems, and test equipment like DVMs and oscilloscopes. Excellent verbal/written communication, customer-facing skills, and the ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments are essential. Must be based near Stansted Airport and a UK/EU national eligible to work in the UK—no relocation offered.
