Join our Non-Kinetic Effects Business Area as a cleared Software Engineer in Beavercreek, OH, delivering cutting-edge software for airborne and ground-based systems.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical software supporting national defense and intelligence products.
  • Execute full software engineering lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Analyze hardware compatibility and develop tools for infrastructure and platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to create technical solutions with end-product impact.
  • Solve complex technical problems requiring deep domain knowledge.
  • Participate in laboratory, ground, and flight testing for software validation.
  • Document and communicate solutions within integrated, cross-functional teams.
  • Work independently on day-to-day objectives with moderate project impact.
  • Engage in design and code reviews to ensure quality and skill growth.
  • Stay abreast of state-of-the-art programming techniques and technologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS in software engineering, computer engineering, or related field with 2-4 years experience; or Master's with <2 years.
  • Proficiency in C++, Java, Python.
  • Systems integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience.
  • SIL environment experience.
  • Strong verbal/written communication; team and independent work.
  • Multitasking in dynamic settings; US Citizen eligible for Top Secret clearance.
