Join Leidos Intelligence Group as a Software Engineer
Leidos Intelligence Group seeks a talented Software Engineer to drive innovative search services, data repositories, and knowledge management for a high-stakes intelligence mission in Chantilly, VA. Deliver enterprise data services enabling seamless search, discovery, and collaboration across structured/unstructured datasets and external sources.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop federated search capabilities, document tagging/organization, and ML/AI-driven content discovery/predictive analytics.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including scrums, sprints, and grooming; manage COTS integrations and Jira workflows within budget.
- Build/modify Single Page Applications using Angular 18+, HTML5, CSS3; develop RESTful services with Java, Scala, Spring Boot/Security.
- Integrate databases like Postgres, Amazon RDS, DynamoDB; leverage Solr/Elastic for advanced search.
- Collaborate with security, ops, engineering; track vendor roadmaps, perform code reviews, and test with JUnit/Jasmine/Jest/Karma.
- Troubleshoot web protocols (Tomcat, Node.js, SSL) in AWS/Azure cloud environments.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
- Bachelor's +12 years, Master's +10 years, or 16+ years experience.
- Proven expertise in system design, interfaces, Angular SPAs, Java/Spring stack, databases, DevOps tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with repository/search suites, discovery/recommendation services, Pre-NLP pipelines.

Responsibilities
