Reporting to the Chief Architect, you'll drive model-based systems engineering (MBSE), software modernization, and deployment to Cheyenne Mountain. Primary Responsibilities

• Document and communicate proposed software solutions across integrated engineering teams.
• Stay current with state-of-the-art programming and technologies.
• Lead software design and code reviews for quality and skill enhancement.
• Create solutions using industry standards like UML Class and Sequence Diagrams for modular patterns.
• Redesign monolithic components for containerization and compliance.
• Collaborate with System Engineering for customer demonstrations and third-party regression fixes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Software Engineering or related field + 4+ years experience (substitutable with training/certifications).
• US Citizen with active DoD Secret clearance.
• Proven C++ and Java experience.
• UML/SysML modeling tool proficiency.
• Agile processes and team collaboration expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• Missile warning/defense domain knowledge and message types.
• Monolithic app breakdown for containerization and performance optimization.
