Leidos Cyber and Analytics Business Area (CABA) seeks a skilled Software Systems Engineer for the DARPA DEIMOS mission. This telework role, with occasional travel to Arlington, VA for customer meetings, involves developing software to analyze diverse endpoint devices in a collaborative, small-team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer software solutions for endpoint device analysis supporting DARPA DEIMOS objectives.
- Collaborate closely with customers and engineering teams on technically challenging innovations.
- Leverage expertise in Java, Python, Linux, and Windows for distributed applications and networking.
- Incorporate advanced skills like mobile development, Rust, Golang, AI integration, GPU work, and cybersecurity features.
- Produce high-quality documentation, analysis reports, test reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field plus 4+ years experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Java and Python with networking/distributed apps experience.
- Hands-on with Linux, Windows, git, and build tools.
- US citizenship; eligible for DoD TS/SCI/SAR clearance.
Preferred Skills
- Mobile development for Apple/Android.
- Rust, Golang, AI model integration, GPU development.
- Cybersecurity expertise in authentication and access control.
- Strong documentation and presentation abilities.
