Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clear understanding of overall system interdependencies and interfaces.
• Derive software requirements and use cases with full traceability to system requirements.
• Drive definition of desired software functionality to meet System of Systems needs.
• Leverage Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to create deliverables and ensure traceability.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders to support the full software lifecycle.
• Maintain SysML software models using Cameo Systems Modeler.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET-accredited university with 8-12 years relevant experience (or MS with 6-10 years).
• Demonstrated expertise in top-down systems engineering for architecture and bottoms-up verification.
• Experience deriving software requirements, defining interfaces, and collaborating in Agile environments.
• Proficiency with tools like DOORS or Cameo Systems Modeler.
• US Citizenship with Final Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain/maintain.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBSE experience, especially SysML in Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes.
• Full software lifecycle experience.
• Residency in North Alabama or willingness to relocate.
