Core Security Oversight
Ensure protection of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Collateral Classified Information from unauthorized disclosure. Provide day-to-day policy interpretation, strategic planning, and mission assurance across all security disciplines.
Personnel Security Expertise
- Initiate and review security investigations, verifying clearances via DISS.
- Evaluate position sensitivity, conduct PKI reviews, and screen for derogatory information.
- Maintain accurate records and prioritize processing for national defense needs.
Physical Security Leadership
- Perform evaluations, manage security deviations, and oversee SCIF construction compliance.
- Update FFC/TEMPEST baselines, maintain IDS/ACS systems, and refine Emergency Action Plans.
Unit Security Operations
- Resolve incidents, manage classification reviews, and procure destruction equipment.
- Monitor training, serve as AT/FP and OPSEC officer, and execute self-assessments.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 8-12+ years experience or Master's with 6-10 years. TS/SCI eligibility required. Experience at Nellis AFB or similar DoD environments preferred.
