The Mission: Splunk Developer Role

Join a large IC/DoD contract as a Splunk Administrator/Developer. Provide design support for a distributed Splunk environment covering security, performance, and operations. Support the full visualization lifecycle: requirements gathering, data correlation, dashboard development, Splunk App integration, and delivering actionable insights for admins, service owners, and decision makers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and configure Splunk apps and dashboards.
• Build advanced visualizations with ITSI and glass tables.
• Integrate contextual data into actionable visualizations.
• Interact with end users for requirements gathering.
• Coordinate with O&M Service Lanes on data and monitoring needs.
• Mentor users and teams on Splunk usage.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing using Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive Splunk Dashboard experience.
• Enterprise network environment support.
• ITSI for enterprise monitoring.
• Splunk apps/add-ons expertise.
• DBConnect/REST API for external data.
• Integration with SolarWinds, SCOM, NMMI, NetScout.
• Splunk Admin/Developer Certification.
• Bachelor's +4 years, Master's +2, Associate's +6, or HS +8 years relevant experience.
• TS/SCI with polygraph (active or willingness).
• DoDM 8140.03 Intermediate certification (Security+ CE, GSEC, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• External systems integration.
• IC/DoD enterprise familiarity.
• ITSM integration (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Automated alerting and reporting.
