Join Leidos as a Sr Electronics Design Engineer

Leidos' National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program seeks a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to support FAA Eastern Service Area Engineering Services in College Park, GA, Washington, DC, Burlington, MA, and Nashua, NH. Drive modernization of National Airspace Connectivity, focusing on Small Tower Voice Switches, Telecommunications Infrastructure, Air to Ground Protocol Converters, and NEXCOM Radios for Air Traffic Control systems across the Eastern US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate site surveys and draft preparation scopes, including CLIN identification and cost estimates.
  • Conduct remote site surveys and oversee contractor site prep and voice-switch installations.
  • Generate risk management programs and coordinate with stakeholders for mitigations.
  • Produce status reports, update Corporate Work Plan (CWP) data, and maintain facility drawings.

Basic Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electronics Engineering + 8 years experience.
  • >50% travel willingness.
  • Public Trust eligibility (US Citizen/Green Card Holder, 3+ years US residency).
  • MS Office proficiency; AutoCAD design experience.
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and NAS equipment towers.

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with NAS facilities (ASR, ATCT, VOR, ARSR, RCAG, NASET, NASEB).
  • CWP 4.1.12 expertise.
