Job Description

Join Leidos as a Sr Electronics Design Engineer

Leidos' National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program seeks a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to support FAA Eastern Service Area Engineering Services in College Park, GA; Washington, DC; Burlington, MA; and Nashua, NH. Drive modernization of Air Traffic Control voice switches, including Small Tower Voice Switches, Telecommunications Infrastructure, Air to Ground Protocol Converters, and NEXCOM Radios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate site surveys and develop site preparation scopes
  • Conduct remote site surveys and draft detailed work scopes with CLINs and cost estimates
  • Review contractor proposals for accuracy and compliance
  • Generate risk management programs and coordinate mitigations with stakeholders
  • Oversee contractor installation and generate status reports
  • Update Corporate Work Plan (CWP) and facility drawings

Basic Qualifications

  • B.S. Electronics Engineering + 8 years experience
  • >50% travel willingness
  • Public Trust eligibility (US Citizen/Green Card 3+ years)
  • MS Office proficiency and AutoCAD experience
  • NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and NAS equipment knowledge

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with NAS facilities: ASR, ATCT, VOR, ARSR, RCAG, NASET, NASEB
  • CWP 4.1.12 expertise
