Job Description

Join Leidos' National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) Program

Leidos is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to support the FAA Eastern Service Area Engineering Services Groups in College Park, GA; Washington, DC; Burlington, MA; and Nashua, NH. This design-centric role drives modernization of Air Traffic Control voice switches, including Small Tower Voice Switches, Telecommunications Infrastructure, Air to Ground Protocol Converters, and NEXCOM Radios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate site surveys and draft preparation scopes with CLIN identification and cost estimates.
  • Conduct remote site surveys and oversee contractor installations.
  • Generate risk management programs, coordinate with stakeholders, and produce status reports.
  • Update Corporate Work Plan (CWP) data and redline facility drawings for drafting.

Basic Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electronics Engineering + 8 years experience.
  • >50% travel capability.
  • Public Trust eligibility (US Citizen/Green Card Holder, 3+ years US residency).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and NAS equipment towers.

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with NAS facilities (ASR, ATCT, VOR, ARSR, RCAG, NASET, NASEB).
  • CWP 4.1.12 expertise.
