Leidos is seeking a Sr. Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) for our Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) in Annapolis Junction, MD. Be part of a high-performing agile team using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and DEVOPS practices on a fast-paced program supporting national security missions in Security Engineering, CNO, SIGINT, and Cryptographic Key Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate system security requirements and designs for large-scale, geographically distributed systems.
- Implement security architectures, recommend technical solutions, and mitigate risks per RMF.
- Lead security planning, assessments, and collaborate with engineering teams on enhancements.
- Conduct vulnerability testing, audit configurations, and evaluate impacts of new developments.
- Serve as SME advising Program Managers and customers on security architecture.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance is mandatory—no exceptions. Experience with IC dissemination platforms, markings standards, and hands-on security testing in complex environments.

- Identify and implement information security architectures ensuring uniform policy application
- Assess and mitigate system security threats and risks throughout the program lifecycle
- Lead security planning, risk analysis, certification, and awareness activities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure hardware/software meets security requirements
- Analyze system implementation against compliance policies and recommend enhancements
- Evaluate security solutions and impact of new developments on operational security
- Audit system security configurations using industry tools and methodologies
- Provide subject matter expertise on security architecture to program managers and teams
- Participate in agile Program Increment Planning and DEVOPS activities
