Leidos seeks an experienced Senior ITIL Knowledge Manager to elevate our IT service management for a critical DOD customer at Fort Belvoir, VA. This pivotal role ensures network knowledge processes align with ITIL4 best practices, driving operational excellence in a high-stakes defense environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of ITIL knowledge management processes across service desk and IT operations.
  • Establish and enforce rigorous quality standards for all knowledge articles and documentation.
  • Manage, monitor, and optimize knowledge bases within ServiceNow, including regular compliance audits against DOD policies and ITIL guidelines.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, change, and problem management teams to capture, validate, and organize critical knowledge.
  • Deliver data-driven insights through usage analysis, gap identification, and actionable improvement recommendations.
  • Train and empower staff on ITIL practices, tools, and knowledge management best practices.
  • Coordinate updates from incidents and changes to keep the knowledge base current, relevant, and user-friendly.
  • Champion continuous improvement in incident management and broader ITSM functions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent; 8-12 years experience (Master’s + 6-10 years acceptable).
  • Current ITIL 4 certification with deep ITSM workflow knowledge.
  • Proven ServiceNow experience as a knowledge repository.
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, communication, and adaptability skills.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
