Leidos seeks a Sr. Java Developer for our Analysis Solutions Business Area in Bethesda, MD. Job Summary
Provide Agile development and operations/maintenance for mission-critical systems using DevOps frameworks. Participate in all SDLC phases: estimation, design, coding, and unit testing.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Java/Spring backend microservices.
- Engage in programming initiatives and code reviews.
- Implement testing with JUnit, Katalon, and automated deployments.
- Prototype/deploy cloud solutions using platform services.
- Follow SAFe Agile practices, aligning with User Stories and customer use cases.
- Document and deploy via GitFlow, GitHub, Jenkins, Python/Bash.
- Apply best practices for innovative solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- Familiarity with Agile, service-oriented development, Java patterns, RESTful APIs.
- DevOps tools, commercial cloud (AWS, Azure), version control.
- Bachelor’s +8 years or Master’s +6 years experience; TS/SCI with polygraph required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Spring Framework, microservices, relational/NoSQL databases.
- JUnit, Python/Bash in Agile; SAFe experience.
