Sr Lead Program Scheduler

Leidos is seeking an accomplished Senior Lead Program Scheduler to deliver strategic scheduling leadership on the high-priority NASA Universal Stage Adapter (USA) project. Based at our Solutions campus in Huntsville, Alabama, this senior leadership role influences program execution, delivery, and business outcomes for NASA's Space Launch Systems.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as primary scheduling leader, advising on advanced practices to shape program strategies.
  • Collaborate with executives, program managers, CAMs, and SMEs to drive decision-making and performance optimization.
  • Develop compliant Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using MS Project, adhering to EIA-748, PASEG, and NDIA standards.
  • Integrate technical, cost, and resource baselines for precise forecasts, ETC, and 'what-if' scenarios.
  • Perform schedule health assessments (14-Point Analysis), risk analysis (Monte Carlo), and metrics tracking (BEI, SPI).
  • Support EVM COE with audits, reviews, and corrective actions across Leidos enterprise programs.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA degree + 10+ years Aerospace/Defense experience.
  • Expertise in scheduling, EVM, and advanced MS Project usage.
  • Proficiency in CPM, resource management, baseline control, and schedule metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NASA oversight and DCMA audit experience.
  • SSI Tools, MS Project Macros, PMP, or SP certification.

  • Strong command of advanced scheduling practices including status processes, health assessments, resource management, and risk analysis (experience)
  • PMP or Scheduling Professional (SP) certification (preferred) (experience)
  • Experience with NASA customer oversight and DCMA audits (preferred) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary scheduling leader and advisor, shaping program strategies through advanced scheduling practices
  • Partner with executive leadership, program managers, CAMs, and SMEs to optimize program performance
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) compliant with EIA-748, PASEG, and NDIA standards
  • Integrate technical, cost, and resource baselines for accurate forecasts and estimates-to-complete (ETC)
  • Create 'what-if/impact' scenarios and conduct schedule risk assessments to inform leadership
  • Monitor performance against baselines, report metrics, and support audits/reviews
  • Develop scheduling artifacts and implement resource time-phasing aligned with IMS
