Leidos seeks a Senior Operations and Management Network Software Engineer for the highly demanding Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) program in Sierra Vista, AZ. Support the US Army's global wide area network and security infrastructure through complex network migration and 24x7x365 operations. This role demands rotating shifts, active DoD SECRET clearance, and expertise in enterprise networking.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate secure centralized network solutions for the US Army.
- Deliver 24x7 support and GCC updates for AGUN command and control.
- Execute policy changes, remediation, and automated workflows.
- Triage tickets in JIRA Service Desk and ServiceNow, providing status briefings.
- Escalate issues and collaborate on tier III support for legacy discovery.
- Optimize network performance via data collection and analysis.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s +8 years or Master’s +6 years experience.
- DoD SECRET clearance and IAT Level II (Security+).
- Cisco SDWAN, SDN, VMware, Red Hat, InfoVista experience.
- Multi-vendor networking (Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto/Dell/AppGate).
- Networking protocols and enterprise management tools proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNP certification.
- Linux scripting, GitLab CI/CD, JIRA/Confluence.
- NetSecOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, Salt).
- Monitoring (Netflow, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Army network security expertise.

- Operate and maintain secure Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) solutions
- Support 24x7x365 operations and provide GCC updates for network command and control
- Conduct policy/configuration changes, remediation, and pre-approved workflows
- Manage, triage, track, and update service tickets in JIRA and ServiceNow
- Provide situational awareness, status updates, and briefings to GCC
- Escalate issues via ticketing system and partner on tier III support
- Identify network optimization strategies for capacity and performance
