Leidos HR Services seeks a Sr. Onboarding Suitability Specialist to deliver specialized background investigation support during pre-hire onboarding. Be the ambassador for new hires, resolving complex issues with precision and customer obsession in a fully remote US role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor in-progress background checks initiated by onboarding team.
  • Handle adverse findings in credit, criminal, education/employment histories via targeted communications.
  • Escalate with vendors like HireRight and manage adjudication timelines.
  • Update Leidos HCM (Workday) with verified data and troubleshoot cross-functionally.
  • Deliver 'beyond best-in-class' service to new hires, managers, HRBPs, Security, and Workplace Relations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s +2yrs HR experience; Associate’s +4yrs; HS +6yrs in HR/staffing/recruiting.
  • Critical thinking, deductive reasoning for multifaceted problems.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, policy adherence in fast-paced settings.
  • After-hours flexibility and internal/external customer service excellence.

Desired Skills

  • Leidos HR knowledge, Workday HCM/ATS, HireRight experience.
  • HR Bachelor’s/advanced degree, PHR/SPHR/SHRM certifications.

  • Consult with background vendors on escalations and manage adjudication reports
  • Enter verified education into Leidos HCM system and communicate via phone/email
  • Provide elite customer service as one-stop-shop for new hires, managers, and HR partners
