Leidos is seeking a dynamic Sr. Project Manager - GIS to drive a high-impact GIS upgrade initiative for a major utility client in New Jersey. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with IT (OT, Testing, Infrastructure, Cyber Security), Line of Business (Electric Operations, Asset Management), and external vendors to deliver project success.
- Oversee end-to-end execution, governing system integrator tasks, deliverable reviews, and change control per client EPMO standards.
- Facilitate design reviews, validate GIS data modeling/workflows, and manage risks in data quality, integrations, and cutovers.
- Maintain comprehensive project artifacts including plans, RAID logs, status reports, and executive updates.
- Control budgets with precise tracking, forecasting, and accruals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field + 10+ years PM experience; PMP required.
- Proven expertise in stakeholder/vendor management, risk/issue resolution, and Microsoft/PPM tools.
- Basic OT knowledge (GIS, ADMS, SCADA, OMS) and utility system upgrade experience.
- Local to NJ; onsite 3 days/week in South Plainfield.
Preferred Experience
Utility background (electric/gas) highly desired for seamless integration into client operations.

- Experience leading diverse technical teams and system upgrades/migrations (experience)
- Must be local to NJ with ability to work onsite in South Plainfield 3 days/week (experience)

- Manage end-to-end project delivery ensuring scope, schedule, cost, documentation, and quality objectives are met
- Coordinate system integrator activities including task planning, deliverable reviews, issue resolution, and change control
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and executive communications
- Manage project budget, financial plans, forecasts, and monthly accruals
