Leidos seeks a Sr. Software Engineer for the Defense Information Systems Agency GSMO-II Program in Arlington, VA. Join the CESO Engineering team delivering innovative solutions to hybrid on-premises/cloud environments through CI/CD, DevOps, and Software Configuration Management expertise.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain DevOps strategic roadmap for continuous improvement.
- Build automated CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Ansible, Bitbucket.
- Design, code, test, and deploy in Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL.
- Manage software releases across full lifecycle to production.
- Lead Agile team, attend scrums, collaborate remotely via Jira.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and resolve system issues.
- Mitigate risks and communicate with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's +12 years or equivalent experience.
- Top Secret/SCI eligible clearance.
- Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II.
- AWS Certified Developer Associate or DevOps Engineer Professional.
- Proven AWS cloud development, Agile SDLC, configuration management.
- Strong leadership, communication for distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- DoD/DISA experience with STIG compliance.
- Bitbucket/Git/Jenkins/Artifactory pipelines.
- RHEL 9 Linux/UNIX development.
- Full SDLC automation expertise.
Salary range: $107,900 - $195,050 USD. Leidos offers full-time employment with growth opportunities in defense IT.

- Implement software release version control and lifecycle management
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, training on engineering processes
- Collaborate with Agile team in daily scrums and remote environments
- Troubleshoot installation, infrastructure, system issues
- Track projects in Jira, mitigate technical risks
